Laser Skin Rejuvenation

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Photofacial

Worried about your skin’s appearance? The Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Photofacial is performed with a series of Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatments to leave you with smooth, glowing skin and a more youthful appearance. Photofacials can be used to improve the appearance of rosacea, flushing and sun-damaged skin, age spots, skin texture, and photo aging. Photofacials can also be used to improve the appearance of mild acne scars, reduce large pores, correct dark circles, and reduce fine lines.

The Photofacial involves intense light that is applied as a series of gentle pulses to the treatment area. The light penetrates the skin and is absorbed by the dilated vessels or pigmentation and then begins to impair the targeted vessels, at which point the body begins a natural healing process. The spots are pulled to the surface and turn into a coffee grounds-like texture that eventually flakes off to reveal beautiful, radiant skin.

After a consultation, we will tailor your Photofacial treatment specifically to your skin type, condition, and texture, to ensure your desired results. There is little to no downtime after a Photofacial. We recommend treatment every 4 weeks, with 3-5 treatments needed. As the light rays are attracted to pigment, we do not recommend IPL Photofacial for those with a tan or melasma.

Fraxel

Looking to improve the tone and texture of your skin? Fraxel® laser treatment works to improve the tone, texture, and radiance for aging, sun damaged, or scarred skin. Fraxel DUAL 1550/1927 laser treatment uses microscopic laser columns that penetrate deep into the skin to speed up your body’s remodeling of collagen and stimulate the growth of new, healthy skin cells.

Fraxel is effective on fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes, surface and acne scarring, unwanted brown spots and pigmentation, sun damage, and actinic keratosis. By rejuvenating the skin cells below the skin’s surface and helping to smooth out the creases that cause wrinkling and scarring, it results in smoother, fresher, younger-looking skin.

Fraxel is ideal for people who want to look younger without dramatic changes or extended downtime. We recommend treatment every 2-4 weeks, with 3-5 sessions needed. Results are immediate and progressive, with optimal improvement usually seen in 2-3 months.

VBeam

Want to improve your skin’s various pigment conditions? VBeam is an advanced pulsed dye laser that delivers rapid bursts of gentle light wavelengths to the skin. VBeam is ideal for treating various vascular pigmented and non-pigmented skin conditions, including spider veins, wrinkles, rosacea, acne scars, leg veins, lesions, port wine stains, stretch marks, and warts.

The VBeam laser is a non-ablative, pulsed dye laser that avoids the skin’s top layers while treating the deeper levels of pigmentation and problem issues. The pulsed dye laser is intensive but gentle, and is absorbed by blood vessels. VBeam uses a Dynamic Cooling Device, which cools the skin to make the treatment comfortable and protect the skin’s superficial layers.

VBeam treatments are safe and pain-free. They can produce visible results in as little as 1-3 sessions.

Laser Hair Removal

Say goodbye to shaving or waxing with laser hair removal! Laser hair removal uses light energy that targets and destroys the cells responsible for hair growth, resulting in reduction of unwanted hair.

Laser hair removal works to remove unwanted hair in many areas, including the face, underarms, chest, back, bikini area, and legs. The number of treatments will vary depending on skin pigment, hair color, and hair texture. Laser hair removal treatments lead to long-term hair reduction. Patients should not expect permanent hair removal.
