Mia Helena Sidaros (1997-2015) was a celebrated style and beauty blogger who lost her battle to pediatric sarcoma. For those who didn’t know Mia, she was a sassy, spunky, energetic and fun-loving girl who was source of energy and light that lifted those around her. Through Mia’s fight against cancer, she continued to write often weaving in messages about her journey and the importance of hope and staying positive. No matter the obstacles Mia dealt with, she was determined to live life to the fullest and exhibited unbelievable perseverance and courage. She talked openly and honestly about her illness touching so many hearts with her words, passion and spirit. Mia was an inspiration to many.
Her final wish was to continue the fight against cancer. Part of her legacy is a commitment to help others. As a result, a portion of our profits are donated to Pediatric Sarcoma Research at UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center. We hold an annual fundraiser called Mia La Maven No Limits Charity Poker Tournament that benefits UCLA Children Hospital and aims to raise awareness and aid in saving the lives of children.
